A staff report granting a time extension has been added.

A new plat with different addresses has been sent in for review.

Due to the contractor hitting groundwater during excavation, the retention ponds had to be re-designed and expanded. New plans have been submitted and are posted.

The following is an email that was sent to the applicant and engineer's for the project. I was reviewing this project again today and see that Val Surrage from Taylor West Weber Water District has approved the improvement plans. However, I have not seen any of the letter from the state. If somebody has them please send them to me and I’ll place them in Miradi. At this stage we should have the three letters; Project Notification, Capacity Assessment, and the Construct Permit for the new extension of the system. This requirement is referenced in our code as Title 106-4-2-a: (a) Water supply. (1) Public system. a. Where an approved public water supply is reasonably accessible or procurable, the applicant shall install water lines, or shall contract with the local water distributing agency to make the water supply available to each lot within the subdivision, including laterals to the property line of each lot. Water lines and fire hydrants shall be operational before building permits are issued for any structures. b. Capacity assessment letter is required prior to final approval from the planning commission. A construct permit from the Utah State Department of Environmental Quality Division of Drinking Water for expansion of the water system and water lines serving the subdivision is required prior to the subdivision receiving final approval from the county commission. This is probably something that should be done through the water company. If you would like me to meet with Val Surrage and you about this I’ll be happy to. However, we will still need the state approval letters. Hopefully this won’t take very long to get together. Let me know if you have any questions.

Per my conversation with Jason Hamblin today, we should be receiving a copy of the contractor's license shortly. We need to make sure it is the correct classification for the type of work being done.

Improvement Plan Comments 1-3 from my last review still need to be addressed. I will also need a cost estimate for the subdivision improvements prior to final approval.

I have posted my review, which includes the requirement for plan approval letters and easements. Developer may contact me for a pre-construction meeting to start on the sewer line along 4300 West.

Prior to posting review comments on the improvement drawings dated 09-05-2014, I would like to set up a meeting with the develop and/or engineer to address some of my concerns.

A revised plat and improvement plans have been submitted for review. I have extra printed copies of the plans. If needed please see me.

QGC will require a main extension to serve subdivision per QGC tariff and regulations

All students are eligibile for bussing. Current stops are at 4050 W 2550 S.

Sanitary Sewer service is available as per letter sent to the developer and Weber County Planning
