Frontier is the land use development and building permit application portal and project tracking interface for Unincorporated Weber County.
As of March 30,2026, new applications for permits may be made through the new Open Gov system. Go to countyofweberut.portal.opengov.com to sign up.
Access to Existing applications and permits will be unavailable while the data is being transferred from Frontier to Open Gov. It is anticipated that the data transfer should be completed by the close of business on Wednesday 4/01/2026. Please check webercountyutah.gov/inspection for more details or contact the Weber County Building Inspections Division 801-399-8770 for further information if needed.
Notice of Fake Payment Request Emails: There are fake/scam emails being sent that look like they are from the county requesting wire payments. These are not real and not from the county. Online payments can be made by logging into frontier and then clicking the payment link in a project. Please contact the person or department you are working with if there is any question.
