Frontier is the land use development and building permit application portal and project tracking interface for Unincorporated Weber County.

As of March 30,2026, new building permit applications may be made through the new Open Gov system. Go to countyofweberut.portal.opengov.com to sign up.
Planning applications, (see list here), are still made through Frontier.
Existing applications and permits made before March 30, 2026 can still be accessed through Frontier.

Email Scams: Be cautious of phishing email scams requesting wire payments. These are not real and not from the county. Online payments can be made by logging into Frontier and clicking the payment link. Please contact the department you are working with if there is any question.
