I talked with Mark Babbitt in our office this morning, 9/21/2012. We talked to him about the 22 degree bend in the sewer line that needs to be fixed. They need to raise the sewer manhole that is at about sta 4+80. This should have been raised with the redesign of the storm drain line and the new pond location. Mark told me that the geotech addressed the sluffing on the south side of the road, and that they are required to dig out the material, and reconstruct in 2' benches with compaction done in 8" to 10" lifts. We should receive copies of the compaction tests for this work. We also noted that some of the manholes need to have vents in the lids, otherwise the p-traps in the toilets may be emptied with the vacuum that could be created in the lines. Mark also stated that he was going to send me the sieve analysis for the road base material.

The Summit at Ski Lake No. 11 subdivision plat and improvement agreement were recorded on April 30, 2011.

I just talked with Ryan Bingham (Great Basin) on the phone. He wanted to know what my concern was regarding the State's Dam Permit. I let him know about the states comment about the "…design features should be evaluated and modified as needed for stability purposes." He said that he'd talk to Mark about it. I told him I'd like a stamped signed letter stating that they have done those things.

These lots are on Mountain Sewer Corporation, nothing is required from our office regarding septic.

This office has completed its final review of this subdivision. All questions and review redlines have been addressed and accepted by this office. I will email Ryan Bingham at GBE giving clearance to print the (2) Mylars for submittal.....1/25/12 A revised (1/24/12) Monument Escrow Agreement will be emailed to Melven Smith today.

Jack Haight just came and talked to me about the easements for the off-site drainage easements. He says it appears that the easement for the pipe to the detention pond, and the pond itself appear to be properly located.

Ray Bowden was in this morning, 10/19/2011, wanting to schedule a pre-construction meeting. I told him that Great Basin e-mailed me some updated plans and some additional information yesterday, and that I have not had a chance to review it yet. He stated that they wanted to get going on and install the silt fence and start some grubbing. I told him that all I needed for him to get going on the SWPPP stuff was all the signatures in the SWPPP manual. I gave him our copy of the manual and he said that he'd get signatures on it, and get it back to me today. We also scheduled a pre-construction meeting for Monday October 24, 2011 at 1:00 PM. I let him know that there where still some outstanding items that would have to happen prior to recording, but that I felt we could let them get going on rough grading.
