Today the Health Department denied signing the plat as it was missing information that they require the soil exploration data to be printed on the plat. Please refer to their letter from May 17, 2012 for the data to be including on the plat. As the plat already has some signatures it may need to be reprinted or rechecked by those agencies. either way this will need to be done prior to any approval from the County Commission and acceptance of an escrow for unfinished improvements.

Phil wants to know what they need to escrow. He is going to send me in the Engineers Cost estimate. I told him that after I got that I would run out there and verify what else still needs to be installed, and we would have them escrow for the remaining items and the 10% contingency on everything else. It sounds like all that is remaining to do is the drainage swales, the turn-a-round, and the chip seal.

Phil brought in the signed and stamped plans. He e-mailed me a word document with the SWPPP information. I told him that I wanted him to print it out, so that he could sign the required information. I also resent him the SWPPP Checklist to fill out. I sent him a link to the Stormwater Construction Activity Permit that needs to be filled out. I also sent him some of the Pre-Construction information that he'll need to have filled out for a pre-construction meeting.

Tyler Nielsen came in a couple days ago with some updated plans for the SWPPP. We looked at them a little bit, and determined that they didn't meet the requirements of the UPDES Construction General Permit, so he took them and was going to revise them a little bit.

This office completed its 1st review of this Amended Subd plat. It was scanned into Miradi, the review completed and emailed to Travis @ Gardener Eng. A vacating Ordinance is necessary, vacating all of Lot 6 of the original subd. plat.

Jared and I just met with Tyler and Phil about the drainage swales. The improvement drawings for the subdivision to the north, Gibson Ranchettes, showed that there was supposed to be a swale. We decided that we would not do a retention pond/swale, but that we would rather re-establish the swale that was originally installed.

I just talked to Tyler, from Gardner Engineering, who had a couple question about my review. He wanted to know what to do about the draininge. I asked him to find some options they could propose, and then we could discuss them with the county engineer. I also confirmed that we are not requiring a geotech report for the roadway section.
