A heliport is being proposed on property east of Green Hill Country Estates in the Ogden Valley. The heliport site is over 40 acres in area and 6,200 feet in elevation. The site also meets the required setback standards. The applicant is proposing daytime flights only, with no more than five round-trip flights per day. This proposal will be heard at the Ogden Valley Planning Commission meeting on January 24, 2012.
The Google Maps location is not accurate and cannot be properly geocoded because the property does not have an official address. The proposed heliport location is approximately 2/3 of a mile east of the cul-de-sac at the end of Maple Street.
