CU INDX9-2014 was issued 10/7/14 with the following conditions: This permit is for the placement of three 10'X14' temporary storage sheds as reviewed and approved by the Ogden Valley Planning Commission on September 30, 2014. All conditions of CUP2014-11 must be adhered to. Refer to the approved site plan for the possible locations of the temporary storage sheds. *** All temporary storage sheds must adhere to the following setbacks: 30' FRONT YARD, 20' REAR YARD, 20' SIDE YARD. The reconfiguration of the parking area will allow for the placement of two stage platforms. The new design will increase the parking area from 250 parking lots to 262 parking lots. The upper parking area will be bordered with a rock retaining wall. CU INDX10-2014 was issued on 10/8/14 with the following conditions: This permit is for the placement of two 11'X28' temporary storage units as reviewed and approved by the Ogden Valley Planning Commission on September 30, 2014. All conditions of CUP2014-11 must be adhered to. Refer to the approved site plan for the possible locations of the temporary storage units. *** All temporary storage units must adhere to the following setbacks: 30' FRONT YARD, 20' REAR YARD, 20' SIDE YARD.

In order to move forward with the review and approval process of the proposal, the applicant elected to modify the proposal to address their immediate needs. The revised application was submitted on 9/4/14 and has been reviewed by the Planning Division for the following uses: *The placement of temporary sheds and temporary storage units *Removal of maintenance building and ski shack *Reconfiguration of the parking area to allow for a stage platform extension *Minor “glading” to identify future walking/biking trails and ski run areas The Ogden Valley Planning Commission heard and approved the Conditional Use Permit on 9/30/14 subject to the following conditions: 1.That only minor “glading” of the trails, lifts and runs but none so much as would require an approved excavation permit. 2.The temporary structures adhere to the required setbacks of the CRV-1 zone. 3.A demolition permit is obtained prior to the removal of the maintenance building and ski shack. 4.Requirements of the Weber County Building Inspection Division 5.Requirements and recommendations of the Weber Fire District 6.Requirements of the Weber County Engineering Division 7.Requirements of the Weber County Health Department The approval is based on the following findings: 1.The proposed use is desirable and will contribute to the well being of Nordic Valley Ski Resort and the community by providing a facility for skiers to rent equipment and participate in ski school lessons. 2.The proposed use will enable the applicant to commence the beginning stages of the Nordic Valley Ski Resort Expansion Project. 3.The temporary structures and parking lot reconfiguration will not be detrimental to the public health, safety, or welfare. 4.The proposed use, if conditions are imposed, will comply with applicable ordinances. 5.The proposed use conforms to the Ogden Valley General Plan. 6.The proposed use will not deteriorate the environment of the general area so as to negatively impact surrounding properties and uses. 7.The dark red metal roof is an acceptable contrasting color as allowed in Title 108, Chapter 2, Ogden Valley Architectural, Landscape and Screening Standards.

Many new files have been added or renamed in this project. This was an attempt to organize and simplify to project for review. Notably new review comments and site plans have been submitted. With even more to come. It may be helpful to go through the plans together to better understand what has been proposed. If you would like to meet with me I can go through the plans and review comments and concerns with you.
