The Ogden Valley Planning Commission on February 23, 2016, granted a 6-month time extension that will give the applicant until September of 2016, to obtain a building permit. If no action is taken, the CUP will expire at the end of September of 2016.

A 6-month time extension has been requested

The Conditional Use Permit application is to install an 82 foot monopine cell tower and a new 12 foot by 26 foot pre-fabricated equipment shelter at Snow Basin above Becker Lift. The reduction in size in the equipment shelter(12’ x 26’ to 12’ x 18’) is not an issue and won’t have to go back to the planning commission. A conditional use permit expires one year from the date of approval from the land use authority. The land use authority may grant a maximum extension of six months. Before it expires in March submit an extension request for 6-months. Once the building permit is issue and construction is started that is consider substantial action, and then at that point the CUP won’t expire
