SWCAP and SWPPP NOI has expired. Contractor has changed; emailed Russ and informed him of need for new SWCAP and NOI.

The applicant has filed a petition requesting a two year time extension on the temporary quarry and rock crushing operation at Powder Mountain. New drawings have been provided. The applicant was reminded to update their SWPP permit.

Joe Chambers (435-757-6857) called inquiring about the permits for this project as well as contact people. I confirmed that Russ Watts was identified as the contact person and that the project has obtained all necessary Weber County permits (no state mining permits were required). He asked about where the material can be used and I told him according to the permits, material may be used only on the associated Powder Mountain projects and may not be exported off the mountain.

I visited the site with Jim Gentry, Dana Shuler, Kalem (Watts Enterprises) and Mike Bradley (Utah Division of Oil, Gas, and Mining)on August 21, 2013. No permits are required by UDOGM. We are still waiting for the SWPP Plan to be submitted but that should happen today (August 30th). Once the SWPP Plan has been approved by engineering, the operation can begin as approved by the Ogden Valley Planning Commission.
