This project is a proposed amendment to the Conditional Uses code. The current code does not have sufficient standards by which a conditional use permit (CUP) application may be evaluated. State code requires a CUP to be evaluated in "compliance with standards set forth in an applicable ordinance." This amendment will provide the applicable ordinance standards in Weber County's Land Use Code.

On August 25, 2015, after a public hearing the Planning Commission approved the proposed amendments. The approval is documented by Ordinance #2015-13, which can be reviewed in the 'Files' tab.

In the 'Files' tab another version of the proposed CUP code has been uploaded. See 7-1-15 DRAFT CUP Code Re-Write. It is also included as Exhibits B-C in the document titled "Ogden Valley Staff Report for July 28 2015 -- CUP Code Re-Write," also in the 'Files' tab. This version of the code will be presented in the Ogden Valley Planning Commission meeting on July 28th, after a public hearing has been held.

In the 'Files' tab another version of the proposed CUP code has been uploaded. See 5-28-15 DRAFT CUP Code Re-write. It will be discussed in work session with the Ogden Valley Planning Commission on June 2, 2015, and with the Western Weber Planning Commission on June 9, 2015. A staff memo detailing the changes is also available under the 'planning commission work session memos.
