Application

A request for an addition to the General Store (Restaurant) in Eden has been made by the owner. The project would cover and enclose an outdoor seating area at the existing brick court yard/patio. This enclosed addition will seperate this area with walls, doors, and removeable windows which could be removed during the summer season.

This application is an amendment to an application (DR-2012-05) which covered this court yard area and attaching it to the building.  Applicant will install windowsna dexiswting opeings to be removed furing summer season and replace existing entries.

If this addition raises the occupancy to 100 or more the building will require fire sprinklers. I need sufficient plans to determine the occupant load for the entire building.

The petitioner was contacted on 7-30-12 and was informed of issue of the property. The petitioner stated that he will correct the problem.

Please hold this permit until the legality of the parcel can be straightened out. Per deed recorded Jan. 6, 2012 the north 86 feet of this parcel has been divided off and did not follow the requirements of the Weber County Subdivision Ordinance.

Went by the property at 10:15 on 17th April 2012, and found that there was still an A - frame portable sign sitting on the corner of the site. Property is still in violation of the Ogden Valley Sign ordinance Chapter 32-B

This applicant is in violation of the Ogden Valley sign ordinance chapter 32B-9 Prohibited signs, Portable signs. Changeable copy trailer, a-frame, sandwich, or portable signs, except as permitted in Section 32B-11, Special Purpose Signs and Section 32B-6, Destination and Recreation Resort Zone.
