I am working on a detached garage on my property. Currently, I have a 10ft utility easement on the west side of my property and a 10 ft easement on the north of my property. After speaking with the utility companies they are willing to vacate the easement with the attached letters. I have also spoken with a county engineer that thinks it is likely I could get the North easement vacated as well due to a decreased risk of flooding. I would like to vacate both easements so I can fit a larger detached garage and not have unused space on my property. Being able to have a 3-5 ft space between the structure and property line will increase the value of my property.
