Tuesday October 28 2014,

Sent Mr. Joel Hewson a notice about his awning/canopy, informed him that in order to build anything he needs land use permits and building permits. I ahve also said until the appropriate permits are issued your for awning/canopy it is illegal and needs to be removed because of the set backs that he may not be able to have the awning/canopy in that place.

Friday 6,2015, Sent out 2nd letter advising Mr.Hewson is still out of compliance with the Unincorporated Weber County Land Use Code Title 102 Chapter 4-4 Land Use Permit required, Title 104 chapter 13, Forest Residential Zone FR-1, and the International Residential Code R113.1 Unlawful acts. The issues with his property are, no land use or building permit has been issued for the awning/canopy and it still remains in place.It is illegal and must either be removed or be brought into compliance. I have asked Mr. Hewson to contact the Planning Division within seven (7) days and complete the process that you have begun, so we can resolve this issue.

Tuesday January 20 2015, Met with Mr.Hewson, his Attorney, Blain Jhonson, Deputy Attorney Brody Flint to discuss the situation. We explained that we cannot say that it is ok, his attorney asked who our Director was and about the Process of the board of adjustment and he said he would get in touch with us in a couple of weeks.
