Jason Kelley, I have started to review your application to the Weber County Board of Adjustment (BOA) on a request for a variance to reduce the side yard setback for a large accessory building. Based on the application I have a several questions, but wanted to get some additional background on the application. • I see that the application is unsigned, was this by error or have you had somebody else prepare the application such as a contractor or real estate agent? • Have you been working with any other Weber County staff on this request, if so whom? • I would like to meet with you and go through any options that you have prior to preparing the BOA meeting? Have you done this with anybody already with the Planning Division staff, and if not when can we discuss the application. • As more detailed site plan often helps reduce confusion for the Board when reviewing these applications. Have you considered drawing out in the site plan the difference between meeting the requirements verse the request looks like. Please contact me as soon as is possible, and we can again review some options that you have for the lot. Thank you.
