NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Notice is hereby given that the Weber County Commission will hold a public hearing on August 6, 2019, and the Western Weber Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on June 11, 2019. The meeting will begin at 10:00 AM and will be held in the Commission Chambers of the Weber Center, 2380 Washington Boulevard, Ogden. The hearings are regarding the following changes to the Weber County Land Use Code: Updating provisions related to the effect slope has on density calculations in a PRUD, cluster subdivision, and master planned developments. This will affect Title 106 of the Land Use Code. Copies of the proposals can be obtained in the Weber County Planning Office in suite 240 of the Weber Center. This item was scheduled on the Ogden Valley Planning Commission agenda for June 25, 2019. After discussions with the applicant it was determined that the item will be pulled from the agenda and rescheduled to the next Ogden Valley Planning Commission regular meeting.

On June 11, 2019, the Western Weber Planning Commission heard this item, and recommended the amendment to the County Commission. This item will be scheduled for a hearing with the County Commission after the Ogden Valley Planning Commission makes their final recommendation.

On June 4, 2019, in an Ogden Valley Planning Commission work session, new language was proposed by staff that would achieve the planning commission's directive in their May 28, 2019 hearing. After reviewing the new text, and further deliberation and debate, a number of planning commissioner's appeared to better understand and support the originally proposed text amendment rather than the changes proposed this day. This item will be presented back to the them with the for decision on the original text in a later meeting.

On May 28, 2019, the Ogden Valley Planning Commission tabled this item pending additional language clarification to ensure a cluster subdivision's density is calculated the same way a standard subdivision's density. It will be on their agenda for review again on June 25, 2019.
