Subject lot is located in Ski Lake Estates.   The lot slopes away from the road starting off at approx. 22% grade and increasing grade to approx. 30%, 200 feet more or less from the roadway.  The subject property lot is 344' deep on West boundary and 299' deep on East.  The house as shown on attached drawing is located from 30' to 90' down slope of the property line that runs close to and parallel to the road way.  The elevation approx. 30' from property line is 5041.31'.  The elevation approx. 90' from property line is 5029.50'.  The measured/calculated slope of the house location is 20%.

Iris Hennon - 9/4/2012
Talked to Mike Tuttle on the 30th August, he indicated that the new plans and engineering calculations look good and has passed his portion of the process and that he is good to go. The Hillside review has been approved by the Planning Director and Mr. Wolff is cleared to begin the next step in the Building process.

They just brought in new plans and engineering. I will still need to sit down and look at the plans and engineering.

Mrs. Wolff called and was wondering where they were in the process. I told her that I talked to her engineer a couple weeks ago, while he was on vacation, and that I haven't seen anything back from him yet.

Talked to Mr. Wolff about the conversation he had with Mr. Jones and he thinks that they have worked out a way that will address the high soil pressures that were recommended in the geotechnical report. I understand that Mr. Jones will be in contact with Mr. Tuttle.

I just talked to Doug Jones on the phone. Doug said that he is still looking into how to address the high soil pressures that were recommended in the geotech report. We talked about a couple different ways that he might be able to address the high loads. Doug said that he was going to call Charlie Wolff.

I just sent Doug Jones an email with questions about the calculations. I tried calling and leaving a message with him as well, but I'm not sure if it was the right number for him.

I talked to the engineer, Doug Jones, on Friday June 1, 2012. He is revising the calculations to show additional information on the foundation design.

Just to clarify, the inconsistencies were between the engineering design for the house and the geotechnical report. The engineering for the house needs to be updated to reflect the information in the geotechnical report.

Talked to Mr. Wolff on March 20th 2012. He is on his way to talking with the firm he engaged about the geotechnical report, I informed him that I will call him on Friday (23rd) if we have not received any additional information from Earthtec. Mr. Wolff seemed to think that the things that Mr. Tuttle is asking for is just a matter of clarification as most were clerical errors.

Talked to Mike Tuttle in regards to Mr. Wolff’s project he has determined that there are some inconsistencies in the geotechnical report on the 13th March 2012, attempted to leave message with Mr. Wolff.

Mr.Wolff called at 9:20 Tuesday 18 2011. I gave him Mr. Mike Tuttle's determination that a geotechnical report would be required. In the next day or two he will be contacting a company that Specializes in geotechnical reports and have one preformed so he can move forward.

Called Mr.Wolff at 9.40 Monday October 17 2011 about a geotechnical report. Mr. Mike Tuttle the engineer on this project will being requiring one before we can Proceed.

Talked to Mike Tuttle the Engineer concerning the Hillside development, as Mr Wolff did not submit a site plan of the property with contours he is not able to review this project without this information and review the information to decide if a geotechnical report is required. I talked to Mr. Charles Wolff, the phone was breaking up a lot and so conversation was a little difficult. Mr. Wolff has provided a offset elevation report, but in order for Mr. Tuttle to make the determination he will need the site plan to have the contours with the building pad being shown.
