The County is fine to accept the proposed road vacation. The following has been published on the State Public Notice Website:
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Weber County Planning Office has received a request to vacate a portion of 10000 East St, located at approximately 394 S 10000 E, Huntsville UT 84317.
The Weber County Commission will hold a public hearing regarding this item during the Commission meeting on July 19, 2022 at 10:00 AM. This meeting will be held in the County Commission Chambers, located on the first floor of the Weber Center at 2380 Washington Blvd, Ogden UT 84401.

I was just made aware of this project today. I can't say whether or not the County is interested in vacating the portion of the dedicated road as proposed. Also, looking over the proposed vacation plat and amendment plat I would recommend executing the desired change with just one plat, such as an amendment plat as is already shown but adding Weber County to the owner's dedication as owner of the road, and showing the portion of the road that is to be vacated. I will have a reviewer assigned to this project once the decision has been given as to whether or not the County is interested in vacating the portion of dedicated road involved.
