The Weber County Commission approved Ordinance #2020-08 amending §108-16 and §110-2 to clarify Ogden Valley Outdoor Lighting and Illuminated Sign allowances during their regular meeting on June 16, 2020. A Notice of Ordinance Adoption was published in the Standard Examiner on 6/18/2020 allowing the ordinance to become effective on 7/3/2020.

Notice is hereby given that the Weber County Commission will hold a public hearing on June 16, 2020 at 10:00 AM in the Commission Chambers, 1st Floor, Weber Center, 2380 Washington Blvd. Ogden, Utah, regarding a proposal to amend the following sections of Weber County Code: Ogden Valley Lighting (§108-16), and Ogden Valley Signs (§110-2) to provide clearer standards for outdoor light, outdoor lighting devices, and illuminated signs in the Ogden Valley in order to support dark sky-viewing, astrotourism, the Dark Sky accreditation of North Fork Park, and the Ogden Valley General Plan. Copies of the proposal may be reviewed prior to the hearing in the Weber County Planning Division Office located in Suite #240 of the Weber Center.

Notice is hereby given that the Ogden Valley Planning Commission will hold a VIRTUAL public hearing on April 7, 2020 at 5:30 PM through Zoom Online Video Conferencing. This hearing is regarding a proposal to amend the following sections of Weber County Code: Ogden Valley Lighting (§108-16), and Ogden Valley Signs (§110-2). The purpose of the amendment is to clarify standards for outdoor lighting in the Ogden Valley.
