I spoke with Steve Morrison today about the review comments regarding Health requirements. No resolution was made.
Michael Tuttle - 7/8/2013
The County Engineer has signed the plat and it has been turned back over to Ben Hatfield. Contradictory to my earlier review there is no requirement for a curb, gutter and sidewalk deferral is this area.

Plats(Mylar) and record of survey have been submitted. Agency signatures will be coming.

This office has completed its 3rd review of this subdivision. There is a minor correction to make in the description and then should be ready for Mylar's pending any concerns from the other review agencies.

I just uploaded the new plat CLS sent me. Cindy said that this should address my items. I hope she incorporated Jack's comments as well.

I returned a call and talked to Steve Morrison. I let him know that I have not received any responses to my comments from my October Review in Miradi. Cindy had told him that she had submitted a revised plat to the county. I let him know that I haven't seen the revised plat.

I finally got in touch with John Croft from the state. He said during a discussion with FEMA they said we could required the flood plain study. They also said that the unstudied areas are a bit of a grey area, and that most municipalities don't require the Base Flood Elevations (BFEs) be determined in the unstudied areas. With the new understanding from the State and FEMA in addition to the stream corridor setbacks and the slope of this particular parcel, we don't feel that a study is warranted at the subdivision phase. We would still recommend that the BFEs be looked at when a structure is being built.

I talked to Steve Morrison about my comments on Miradi. I Let him know that a bunch of them were just re-iterating what the surveyors have already brought up in their review, with some additional comments like the drainage easement along the river. I also gave him John Crofts phone number so he could call and talk to him about the possiblity of postponing the base flood elevation determination until the houses are built.

Subdivison notice were sent to adjacent property owners giving them until August 10, 2012 to submit any comments or concerns with the proposal. None were received.

All students are eligible for busing. Parents are responsible to bring students to the stop are 10451 E Hwy 39 (just west of the Eagles Campground) in the morning. One bus brings all students up to Red Rock Cafe after school.

I cannot review this subdivision, PFD file is an incomplete file of the subdivision plat. I will also need the plat in a black/grey tone.Colors will not print with sufficient clarity to read.

RMP approves this 2 lot subdivision. Existing line will remain in place. Line extension too the two lots will be in accordance with current tarriffs and regulations.
