Shawn came into the office this morning and said the project is complete and emailed me a final invoice. I will do my final inspection on Monday.

Site visit today, looks good. It's done, clean and just waiting for asphalt. Shawn mentioned trying to do asphalt Monday if the plant is open.

Shawn submitted is estimate for a final change order on the project. Jared has okay'd it as long as this is the last one. I'm waiting to hear back from Shawn on that.

Site visit today, all pipe has been installed, all utilities have been looped or relocated and the open ditch will be completed today. Asphalt plant don't open for another couple weeks, so the contractor will invoice for 2/3's of the project amount. They have final grading, clean up, 2 fences to repair and asphalt work left.

Site visit today, Questar has looped their 2 lines and last piece of pipe was being installed. Looks like the ditch construction and the intersection are what's left.

Shawn called this morning needing help contacting Questar about getting 2 lines looped. I gave him Mitch Campbell's number, he is the foreman for that area. Shawn has about 200' laid so far

Pre-construction meeting was held on site today. Notice to proceed will be issued today and construction will start on Monday March 12th

After the flooding that recently occurred at this location, we have taken a second look at our design and have determined it is necessary to up size the pipe. I asked the contractor for a quote on the new pipe size and submitted that information to the county engineer for approval. He indicated that he will be calling the contractor directly to discuss the potential change order pricing.

PO #79557 has been approved by the County Commission for this project. A pre-construction meeting will be scheduled.

I received all of the required paperwork from Accurite Excavation today. Annette will take the PO to the Commission on Tuesday.

I sent Shawn Durrant, Accurite Excavation, a reminder email today about their paperwork being due tomorrow. I listed everything I needed and told him it needed to be turned in by the end of the day tomorrow so I could get him approved through the County Commission.

Shawn came in Jan 4th to discuss the necessary paperwork and time frame. He indicated that he will be able to start the job February 15th and it would take him 2 weeks. I agreed to that as a start date and asked him to get his paperwork in asap so I could get him approved by the Commission. He will be bringing in the signed PO Agreement, Performance Bond, Certificate of Insurance and signed Notice of Award.

Sent Notice of Award to Accurite Excavation yesterday. They have until the 10th to get their paperwork turned in.

Bid opening was held today. The apparent low bidder was Accurite Excavation. Bids are being analyzed and a decision will be made in a few days.

Bid package was sent up to purchasing today. The project is estimated to be around $13,000 so we will not be advertising it. I provided Annette a list of 12 local companies to send an invitation to bid to. The bid opening will be held December 29th at 2:00.

Mike Tuttle and I had a meeting with Chris Allred last Friday to review out contract documents and bid packages. As a result of that meeting, I am revising my contract document prior to sending them up to purchasing.

Bid package is completed, pending review by the county engineer.

Talked to Nate Pierce today, 2011-11-15, and he said to go ahead and get the work bid out and completed. We'll be paying for it out of the Stormwater Fund.

Project is on hold pending the final budget.

Received 2 of the 3 estimates today, looks like I need to prepare a bid package and put this project out to bid being as the estimates have back over $5,000.

9/2/2011 I emailed 3 contractors a copy of my drawings as well as an estimate form. I'm trying to see how much this project will cost so I know if I need to send it out to bid or not. 9/8/2011 I hadn't received anything back from them so I emailed them again asking for a response by 9/12/2011.

Design completed, quantities calculated, emailed to 3 contractors for estimates today.

The design is currently underway.
