Was requested to go look at 1823 South 4200 West as possible violations,

Upon inspection I found a fence that is not incompliance, and Storage of Construction Equipment and materials in two semi-trailers. Back in the office I can not find a Land Use Permit for the fence.

Sent a notice to Mr. & Mrs Romero notifying them that the fence is out of compliance and does not have a Land Use Permit also that the semi-trailers are not permitted at a storage unit.

Monday 8th January 2018 Received an e-mail from Mrs. Romero citing other properties that she perceives have violations because of that she contends those cancels her violations I responded to her and thanked her for the information, reminded that it does not cancel her violations and that she still needed to address those.

Monday 11 December 2017. Received phone call from Mrs. Romero regarding notice. Mrs. Romero was not happy and said she thought the County was Targeting them because they were of Hispanic Descent I tried to reassure that was not the case, she then said that the fence company was at fault because they were the ones that should have gone to the County for a permit, I tried to tell her that ultimately it was the property owner's responsibility, and I would love to have the fence company's phone number so I could correct their oversight so other property owners were not impacted, but by this time she was not listening and just wanted to argue that the County was targeting them. Phone call did not resolve the issue.
