I have been working with Mr. Hansen since June 2010. He is a 92 year old man. Every month he has been sending me receipts from bloom recyclers to show me how much he is cleaning up. I have had several conversations with Roy City because his property is an island, and have requested that they might like to Annax him into Roy. It was the City who first complained about the property, they have declined, also they have declined an invitation in the clean up process. Speaking with  deputy attorney Chris Allred he thought that in view of the property owners age and the fact that his property is surrounded by Roy City by allowing him the time he needed to clean up the property was the proper way of handling this case. A few days ago his house burned down (still waiting for the report from the fire Marshal as to cause)I did my monthly inspection and found that Mr. Hansen has been adding items of junk to his property, he had been cleaning up and doing well, slowly but it was being cleaned up. His property appears now to be in the same conodition as when we started in June 2010. He had also been proping up some of the junk against the house and they were burned as well. With the added accumulation og junk and because of the recent fire it is my opinion that his property is becoming increasingly dangerous to the property owner and the surrounding community and therefore I have sent Mr. Hansen a notice that he needs to eccelerate the clean up, he needs to hire a company to come in and clean up because he cannot do it in a timely manor. I have given him 14 days, I sent him a certified nortice on the 12 September and he received the notice on the 19 september.
