Sent notice to Mr John Fenn as he is out of compliance with the Unincorporated Weber County Land Use Code, Title 102 chapter 4-4 Land Use Permit required, Title 104 chapter 9,Forest Zones F-5, F-10, and F-40, Title 108 chapter 15-1-10 Single family dwellings, and the  International Residential Code R113.1 Unlawful acts.

 Informed him that these ordinances are in place governing his property; these standards were developed to maintain the safety in the community. These issues with his property; no land use or building permits for the building, no septic. He must first have permits which have been approved by the appropriate County agencies, before he can commence building. I have invited him to talk to me about resolving these issues.

January 17, Met with Mr.Finn,Craig Brown Building Official. Talked about what needs to happen again gave him the standards for single family dwellings the code for forest zone F40, and the chapter on land use permit.Identified with Mr. Finn that the first thing he needed to do was talk to Environmental health to find out the rules and regulations relating to public water supplies and waste disposal, and obtain an approval letter from them. I gave Mr. Finn a fortnight to make an appointment and find out what he needs to do for Environmental health as a first step to coming into compliance. I also let him know that that as long as he was communicating with either the Building official or myself and making progress the County would be able to work with him. That we understood with the amount of snow and condition of the roads in the winter it was impossible to do anything physical with the property to bring it into compliance. That is why we would give him the time he needed.

Januuary 15 2014, Mr. Finn contacted me in regards to the violation notice, he indicated that he would like to make it right and that he had been into the office several times talking with the Building Inspections division. I have requested that he bring in a site plan with the dimensions of his property and the location of his building.
