Sent notice to Phil & Traci Douglass are operating a nightly rental business at 483 Ogden Canyon, at the Cobbles; this is not a permitted use in the FR-1 zone. The purpose of the Forest residential Zone, FR-1 is to provide areas for residential development in a forest setting at a low density, as well as to protect as much as possible the naturalistic environment of the development. I did explain that they would be able to do a month to month lease, but not a nightly rental at this address. The County has received complaints from various neighbors that the guests that have been allowed to use the home have been sledding on property not owned by the Douglasses, parking on the neighbors lawns and generally causing a disturbance to the tranquil neighborhood.
