Notice is hereby given that the Weber County Commission will hold a public hearing on June 16, 2020 at 10:00 AM in the Commission Chambers, 1st Floor, Weber Center, 2380 Washington Blvd. Ogden, Utah, regarding a proposal to amend the following sections of Weber County Code: Ogden Valley Lighting (§108-16), and Ogden Valley Signs (§110-2) to provide clearer standards for outdoor light, outdoor lighting devices, and illuminated signs in the Ogden Valley in order to support dark sky-viewing, astrotourism, the Dark Sky accreditation of North Fork Park, and the Ogden Valley General Plan. There will also be a proposal to amend § 101-1-7 and § 108-7, to add a definition of agricultural building, amend the definition of agricultural parcel, and include provisions for agricultural building exemptions.
