An amendment to Weber County Code to allow medical cannabis grow and processing in at least one manufacturing zone and one agricultural zone. State code requires that the county allow the use in certain manufacturing and agricultural zones. If adopted, the use will be allowed in the M-3 (manufacturing) zone and the A-3 (agricultural) zone, the heaviest land use intensity zones for their respective primary uses (manufacturing and agricultural).

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Notice is hereby given that the Western Weber Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on December 10, 2019, starting at 5:00 PM. in the Commission Chambers, 1st Floor, Weber Center, 2380 Washington Blvd. Ogden, Utah. The hearing is regarding a proposal to amend Weber County Code § 104-5, § 104-6, § 104-7, § 104-8, and § 104-25 to allow the cultivation and processing of medical cannabis, as required by state code. The proposed amendment will also provide minor edits to these sections for clarification purposes. Copies of the proposals may be reviewed prior to the hearing in the Weber County Planning Division Office located in Suite #240 of the Weber Center.
