NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Notice is hereby given that the Weber County Commission will hold a public hearing on July 30, 2019. The meeting will begin at 10:00 AM in the 2380 Washington Boulevard, Ogden. The hearings are regarding the following proposed changes to the Weber County Land Use Code: Clarifying and updated provisions related to enforcement of the Land Use Code. This proposal affects Titles 101, 102, and 108 of the Land Use Code. Copies of the proposals can be obtained in the Weber County Planning Office in suite 240 of the Weber Center. More information can be obtained by contacting Charlie Ewert at 801-399-8763 or cewert@webercountyutah.gov.

On May 30, 2019, the Ogden Valley Planning Commission recommended denial to the County Commission for this item. Their primary concerns revolved around mandating people to connect to existing water systems when there are currently options available, and around the fact that this is a nebulous subject that needs far more study and involvement from the local water entities. This item will be heard by the Western Weber Planning Commission on June 11, 2019, at 5:00 PM. After the Western Weber offers a recommendation it will be submitted to the County Commission for final decision.

On May 30, 2019, the Ogden Valley Planning Commission recommended approval of this item to the County Commission, with minor administrative edits. The item will next be heard by the Western Weber Planning Commission on June 11, 2019 at 5:00 PM before being forwarded to the County Commission.
