Application

Mr. Samuel Bellarosa complained about the guidance signs in the Ogden Valley from the Parade of homes, on Friday 6th of July he rang Scott Mendoza and asked him.

On monday 9th July I was called up by Deputy Sheriff Hoit that there was an Incident in the valley. Samuel Bellarosa  had gathered all the signs and took them home. The contractor Chad Roberts got upset, and Paul Ray CEO of the Parade of Homes and Northern Wasatch Home Builders association was called in and given the signs.

I met with Scott Mendoza and Sean Wilkinson Economic Development Director, there really was not a way that they could put the Parade of Homes under the Special Event application and permit. Scott thought I should take an application in and look at it.

Tuesday 10th July and application was e-mailed to me by the Parade of Homes, I also received a call from Mr. Bellarosa that afternoon he wasnt pleased that I would be looking at this application. I was able to look at on Wednesday 11th July, and look further into the ordanance.

Had a meeting with Rick Grover Planning Director and also Charles Ewert Principal Planner July 12th looking at the Ogden Valley Sign Ordanance and found a provision in which they could operate.

July 13th received a Memorandum from Planning Director Rick Grover from Principal Planner Charles Ewert  with the provision that the Parade of Homes could lawfully carry on with their guidance signs. I called  Mr. Samuel Bellarosa (801-814-7263) and informed him of the decision and e-mailed him the information.
