Application

This project will involve a survey on 1100 South and 6800 East as well as storm drain design to fix the storm water problems occurring at the intersection and along 1100 South as a result of lack of detention in the developments above. A storm drain pipe will most likely be installed in 1100 South as well as a couple catch basin along the same road and at the intersection. All of which will be tie into an existing storm drain system below.

I sent an email to Jesse Glidden this morning asking about permission to install a box on an existing pipe in their right of way.

I contacted UDOT yesterday to find out whose responsibility it is to clean out the drainage ditch along the Highway. My email was forwarded to Rex Harris & Kris Peterson.

I met with Jim Banks on site yesterday mainly to get the location of the waterline, but he has knowledge of the subdivision history which was very helpful. He indicated the waterline is 6' deep and off the edge of asphalt on the South and East sides of the roads. I've taken video and picture of the sheeting and ice problems which this project will reduce. I'm currently working on the design.

I received field survey data from Larry late yesterday and will begin the design drawings hopefully by the end of the week.

I spoke to Larry today about getting 1100 South and 6800 East surveyed. He put it on his to do list and indicated that it most likely wouldn't happen before snow flies.
