I wish to request a waiver or exception to policy to the Board of Adjustments to permit locating my Hawaiian Shaved Ice Trailer next to The Mad Moose in Eden this summer without having to incur the expense of a full-site survey (May thru September).
I think there is vested interests. I can employ 4 Snowcrest Middle School kids for the summer, contribute to the tax base for Weber County, not leave any kind of offensive structures or damage in any way, and provide a nice and attractive summer service to the community (boaters, campers, etc.).
The cost for a full blown site survey is cost prohibitive for me - especially as a tenant renter in the plaza. The landlord is open to allowing me to positioning my trailer for the summer months, but he does not want to incur the high cost of contracting to have a formal full-blown site survey done either - very expensive
So, I am hoping to request an exception since my small trailer takes up very little space and is completely self-contained. My trailer requires no plumbing or facility improvements. I only park it there for the summer months. Since I own The Mad Moose adjacent to the proposed trailer location, I have all permitted food handlers permits and required commercial kitchen requirements fulfilled and in place.
I have attached two documents that show you the trailer and a document showing the aerial view of the "Peak Plaza" where I wish to locate the trailer (2429 N. Hwy 158, Eden, Utah, 84310).
If you could help me get this request in front of the deciding powers-that-be I would be most appreciative.
