This is a response to the need for more course/directional and traffic signage:
Course Directional Signage Map. This map shows the locations of course signage. Course signage is Coroplast printed arrows that are about 24” long by 12” wide. They get placed along the course on 24-36 orange cones: https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/1/edit?mid=12EAUrFOFOczsTfC7xl-b_y2XxsbWbzI&usp=sharing
Traffic Safety Signage Map. This map shows the location of the few traffic safety signs and general locations of WCSO for this event: https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/1/edit?mid=12NB8BERZ6TcaGcjt74uz-FRAc_J2YYw&usp=sharing
Allan Coleman. Yes, we'll have both signs for the runners and a small amount of Traffic Signage near the Start/Finish Area, in addition to WCSO personell in key points for safety. Our runner signage are arrows that are 18" long and about 12" wide that are put onto 24-36" orange cones along the side of the course.
Our rented Traffic Safety signage consists of a few detour signs w/arrows, a Type III Road Closed Barricade at the junction of 2200 N and 5500 E that will be manned by a WCSO officer. Traffic Signage Locations and General Officer Locations are included on this map: https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/1/edit?mid=12NB8BERZ6TcaGcjt74uz-FRAc_J2YYw&usp=sharing
Cody Draheim, correct. We will not have need for an ambulance on-site. We'll have a couple Physical Therapists from Intermountain Health to handle any minor issues. We will utilize 911 if there would be an emergency. Thanks!
Just to be clear...there is no need for an ambulance standby on site? If not, we can simply respond if needed via 911.
Will you be using signage to direct the runners or traffic? If so can you provide dimensions and a picture.
