This application is being submitted for a conditional use permit for the purpose of opening a Package Agency Liquor Store. Package agencies are retail liquor outlets operated by private persons under contract with the Utah Department of Alcoholic Beverage Services. My wife Danielle & I own this building which we named Dalens Center. We are coming up on 2 years of ownership and currently have a space available within our building. That space would be an ideal location for the new liquor store. It is our understanding that Powder Mountain will be relinquishing their permit for Outpost Spirits in April of this year 2024. Our building has excellent accessibility and easy parking. We have been gathering the appropriate documents for the DABS, including acquiring a business name, (Ogden Valley Spirits) business plan and working with the local DABS agents. The agents have indicated they love the proposed location. As Eden residents, Danielle and I have a vested interest in the success of not only this retail business but also the success of the Ogden Valley. Our central location allows access to local residents and tourists without having to leave the Ogden Valley down a narrow canyon.
